Laissez les bons temps rouler! Tiana’s Bayou Adventure at Walt Disney World is ready for a big Mardi Gras season celebration. Grab your friends, family, and beignets because here’s everything you need to know before riding when the attraction opens on June 28!

The Story Begins in the Queue

From the moment you step into the queue, the adventure begins! Set a year after the events of “The Princess and the Frog,” Tiana’s Bayou Adventure showcases Princess Tiana’s journey following the success of her restaurant, Tiana’s Palace. Discover how Tiana has expanded her business with Tiana’s Foods, transforming an old salt mine into a thriving enterprise of hot sauces, seasonings, and more.

As you enter the garden area, enjoy a radio broadcast featuring New Orleans musical acts and learn about the celebration Tiana is hosting tonight. But there’s a catch—there’s been a mix-up in the party preparations, and Tiana needs your help to find musicians for the Mardi Gras celebration!

Advanced Audio-Animatronics

Experience some of Disney’s most advanced Audio-Animatronics figures in Tiana’s Bayou Adventure. These lifelike figures, including the dynamic Louis, are created with new materials and technology, making them more realistic than ever. In total, the attraction features dozens of Audio-Animatronics figures, each designed to support the attraction’s immersive story.

An Immersive Bayou Journey

Join Princess Tiana and jazz-loving alligator Louis on a magical adventure through the bayou. Meet familiar faces and make new friends, including musical critters playing tunes in the styles of Zydeco, Rara, and Afro-Cuban music. With the help of Mama Odie’s magic, you’ll shrink to an itty-bitty size for a unique perspective on the bayou as you search for musicians.

As the talent search concludes, Mama Odie will return you to normal size, and you’ll join the joyous Mardi Gras celebration at the magnificent home of Princess Tiana and Prince Naveen.

Meet New Disney Characters

Tiana’s Bayou Adventure introduces 19 new critters, each with a unique name and personality. These original characters enhance the attraction’s story and offer guests the chance to connect with new friends in the bayou.

Music that Brings the Adventure to Life

Tap your toes to the joyful music throughout Tiana’s Bayou Adventure. As you approach the party at Tiana and Naveen’s home, enjoy a new original song, “Special Spice,” sung by Anika Noni Rose, the original voice of Princess Tiana. The music, created in collaboration with award-winning artists PJ Morton and Terence Blanchard, captures the essence of New Orleans culture and music.

Virtual Queue and Genie+ Service

To ride Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, join the virtual queue through the My Disney Experience app at either 7 a.m. or 1 p.m. While a standby queue won’t be available initially, it is expected to open soon after the attraction’s launch.

Additionally, Tiana’s Bayou Adventure will be included as a Lightning Lane entrance in the Disney Genie+ service. This service helps guests access their favorite attractions faster and includes digital downloads of select Disney PhotoPass attraction photos at no extra charge.
